Masterson Station Park in Lexington, Kentucky was buzzing last weekend with crowds packing in for CRAVE, a food and music festival.
Knowing of this festival for a few years I was excited to experience it.
One festival stage was dedicated to regional music acts and another featured food prepared by notable chefs. Around the rest of the park were food vendors from all around Kentucky.
I didn’t know what to expect going into CRAVE, but after one day I feel I saw it all.
Food options are plenty, but your pockets will be empty. The event is well priced for a day of music, but no matter where you went, the food options were expensive.
Music is the saving grace. The Driftwood Gypsies are an energetic vibe and the Boa Boys are entertaining live.
CRAVE may be a one-and-done festival for me, but if I do plan to attend a future event, it will be for the music and I may honestly eat beforehand.
